Dr. John Han is a Korean-American clinician who has experience working with clients across the lifespan and has addressed issues such as: depression, anxiety, relational conflict, phase of life transitions, and identity formation. Dr. Han’s work as a therapist is driven by empathy and his understanding of early childhood experiences, allowing him to assist clients in confronting the challenging aspects of their stories, empowering them to find meaning and healing. 

Creating a safe and nonjudgmental space is of utmost importance to Dr. Han. He strives to establish an environment where individuals feel supported in exploring their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors without fear of criticism. As a therapist who is psychodynamically oriented, Dr. Han delves beneath the surface, uncovering unconscious processes and assisting clients in unpacking underlying patterns that contribute to their current struggles.

Dr. Han approaches therapy as a collaborative process, working closely with clients to uncover the root causes of their challenges. By integrating his knowledge of clinical psychology with his unique perspective as an Asian-American, he provides clients with a lens through which to understand the intricate interplay of cultural, societal, and personal factors impacting their well-being. Dr. Han is committed to staying curious about the inner world of his clients, allowing him to provide a level of care that is carefully attuned and tailored to each individual he meets with.
