Meet the Heart Behind the Healing

Linqian (Lin) Wang, M.S., M.A.

Pre-doctoral Trainee Therapist

Clinical Focus & Approach

Lin is a doctoral trainee in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University. She believes that healing begins in the presence of safety, curiosity, and connection. Lin deeply values the opportunity and trust to sit with people in their most vulnerable and brave moments and to walk alongside them through seasons of pain, growth, and rediscovery.

As a bilingual therapist fluent in both English and Mandarin, Lin strives to create a culturally responsive, warm, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Rooted in a psychodynamic and relational approach, Lin brings deep respect for each person’s unique life story. She understands that our experiences shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world.

In her work, she holds space for clients to explore the impact of trauma, attachment wounds, cultural identity, and family dynamics with gentleness and insight. Lin supports individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, relationship difficulties, identity development, and self-worth. She is also trained in EMDR and integrates this modality as part of her trauma-informed care.
